Videos of the J-Man
Like I posted below, Jackson loves to sing so I took some video of him singing some of the songs he knows. He was being kind of silly, but it's still really cute. The first song he sings in the video is Baby Jesus, one he learned at school, and it's to the tune of Brother John. It's his favorite song. The other videos are self-explanatory except the last one, which is one I took when I snuck into his room while he was playing/throwing books everywhere.

In February Jackson moved up to the next room at his school,
and he is doing really well. We love his
teacher in there. They are teaching them
lots of new songs, how to count in Spanish, and how to pray. They report that Jackson loves to sing for
the class and that he has a really good time playing dress up, reading, and of
course running around on the big playground.
Apparently, he is a very good boy at school and they don’t have the
pleasure of experiencing the temper tantrums that occasionally plague our
house. We’re fine with that and actually
prefer it that way.
Easter 2012
Jackson was also quite adept at hunting Easter eggs this
year, although at times he would get distracted by opening the eggs in search of
candy. Jackson has really started to get
the hang of playing with other kids so he has a really good time playing with
his cousins when we visit, and it’s so cute to watch.
Here we come!!!

Christmas 2011
Jackson had a very good second birthday and Christmas. Obviously he was much more aware of what was
going on so he had fun setting out cookies for Santa and opening his
presents. He was also very interested in
reading about and hearing us talk about how Jesus was born on Christmas
Day. For a few months after Christmas,
every time we went to church, Jackson would say, “Jesus born?” He’s so funny. Speaking of reading, that is another one of
his favorite past times, in fact, he would let us read to him for an hour
straight if we were willing.

So Many Updates!
Well, I am much
delayed in posting to Jackson’s website.
My apologies! He has been
changing so much! He is an absolute
chatter box these days! He knows very
well how to tell us what he wants.
Jackson is developing into a sweet, funny, smart, energetic, stubborn,
and feisty little boy. He loves to laugh
and to be silly. He absolutely loves any
activity that involves any kind of ball, but football and basketball are his
favorite.
Here he is with his cousin Eli playing with his toy drills. He got lots of tools for his birthday, which is so nice because he and Eli each get their own.

Bubblesssss!
Jackson is such a hoot, and it has always been so easy to make him laugh. I mean laugh hard, big belly laughs! It's so fun. He likes it when you do funny voices so as the water drained out of the tub tonight and the only thing left was bubbles, I said, "Look at all your bubblesss!" You'll see in the video how I was saying it. He thought it was hysterical! He was laughing even harder when I first started saying it but still laughing pretty hard by the time we got the camera rolling.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
